Frozen Bakhmari

A type of bread or fried pastry, it is one of the most popular dishes in Yemeni cuisine. It combines a slightly salty and sweet taste (sometimes called "al-Khamir al-Hali"), as it contains sugar and is flavored with cardamom and nigella seeds.
